Not as good as hoped
The knit pattern, color and sizing are good. Unfortunately the material is not at all as heavy as I had hoped or anticipated at this price point, and I was hoping to have bought an heirloom level sweater which doesn't truly feel like the case here. This is supposed to be all wool but definitely feels like there are some synthetics given the springiness and space between the weave. Very notably the tag proudly proclaims its Vietnam manufacturing origin, which came as a surprise to me given all the delays in shipping, supposed scarcity in availability, the cost, and the sweaters Scandic origin story. Maybe a wash, a mild tumble cycle and a minor shrink will make this sweater better and better over time, but I sure have to admit to being a bit disappointed out of box. The search for the perfect mid-priced well built heavy sweater continues. Read more
