I work from my couch quite a bit which is pretty much my home office but the outlet that I use to charge my cell phone and laptop is directly behind the couch (which sits flush against the wall). This makes it really hard to plug in my laptop and cell phone charger which is where this awesome extension cord comes in. I plugged the flush mount wall outlet into the outlet and run the cord either under the couch or up along the wall next to the couch. No more having to pull the couch away from the wall every time I need to plug or unplug a device. This cord is very durable and the 5 ft length was plenty for my needs. really convenient and handy. While I won't use the outlet cover, the power strip itself is nice and the flat, but non-rotating port is fine. I didn't realize it had USB ports which is a nice bonus. Value wise I would say it is fine, but I love the longer cords, they really do make a more versatile product.
