I’ve used nitrile finger cots before (the blue ones that is), and they are bit better than these. There’s nothing wrong with these per se, but they’re a lot thinner (like disposable gloves). They will not last hours if you needed them to and do let water in. I often get cuts c’è or splits on my fingertips, and I wash my hands a lot having 3 dogs in the house. I would have to change one of these plus the bandaids each time I wash my hands. Could not use it to protect my bandage or keep water from getting through. They also will tear up if you tug on them a bit too much. So they do, do their job, just not excellently. I will go back to my blue nitrile ones, once I finish this box. Read more
Easily unrolls over the thick orthosis/cast to the base of my ring finger with the Large size and fits well enough to keep the water out if I’m careful. It’s very comfortable and I forgot it’s there while I’m doing things so I must remind myself to remove it to prevent condensation formation and skin maceration or smelly cast. My only complaint is not being able to purchase individual sizes in larger quantities after buying the mixed sizes to determine which size works best making it pretty pricey for 12 Large ones. I just tried on a Medium that will work fine as well and may be better for keeping water out if I don’t keep it on too long because it’s definitely tighter. However, these are much better than the Grafco finger cots which are available in individual sizes but are much shorter (by at least 9-14mm) with inconsistent lengths, are unrolled and lower quality though they are almost half the cost each for 144 versus 36 Flents. Depends on what your needs are. Durability is good and I haven’t noticed anything more than a slight latex smell when it’s right under my nose. Read more
I cut my middle finger near the nail while slicing chicken. I had plenty of adhesive bandages but being on my finger the cut was always getting wet and reopening. These finger cots worked great. I put them on when I was getting my hands wet and rolled them off afterwards. They helped keep my cut clean and dry for days until it healed enough to stop reopening. They come with three sizes to cover most situations, the medium was great for mine. Read more
These were convenient to use to cover a bandaged finger and later for the damaged nail but very long. Additionally, while they offered 3 sizes (small, medium, large), there was no visible marking to indicate which size is which. They were also all packaged together in a single plastic bag so it was a game of trying to find which sizes were what. Overall, they were fine but not sure if I'd repurchase in the future. Read more
As expected. More quantity as per W… for same price. I use them a lot. I will buy them again. Read more
Great for avoiding paper cuts in the winter. My fingers split when it gets to cold. This helped so much. Read more
