The handle is easy to hold, and there is a pointed end to use more like a pick in addition to the flossing end. At the time of this review, these floss picks are $8.49 and I think that's a solid value for money considering the quality, biodegradable aspect, and quantity. I was honestly surprised by how much I liked these floss picks. When I first looked at them, the floss seemed very thin and I wasn’t sure how well it would hold up but it worked surprisingly well. It didn’t shred or break and easily removed plaque between my teeth. The mint flavor is very mild, almost barely noticeable. I also like the precision clean tip it makes it easier to reach around my molars. The eco-friendly materials are a nice bonus, too. I often thought about the floss picks I have been using, made of forever plastic with PTFE floss, a Teflon-like thread. I envision future inhabitants of earth finding these things 10,00 years from now and wondering why we made flossers out of forever plastic. I was pleasantly surprised to find these biodegradable floss picks that can help save the planet, my teeth and gums. They are superior to the plastic product in every way. After trying them, I am happy to report that they are much more durable than the plastic alternatives and clean between my teeth much better. The double bamboo fiber has a rougher surface and cleans better. The floss does not fragment. I am able to floss my entire mouth with just one pick. After switching to these, future generations will see no more evidence of my enthusiasm for flossing, But they’ll find the plastic carcass of my electric toothbrush. Read more

I found it much harder to get these flossers between my teeth than my usual drug store floss, to the point that I can’t see myself using them. I think it’s also worth noting that while the packaging describes these as biodegradable, there’s no guidance as to whether you can compost these or whether they’ll just break down faster in a landfill than plastic. (I definitely wouldn’t put these in a backyard compost pile, but I also wouldn’t put them in commercial compost unless the manufacturer provides some more guidance.) Read more

Anytime I can replace a plastic item with something biodegradable I'm happy, so I like these all natural floss picks. They are also packaged in a plain paper box with no plastic coatings, so I feel the maker is serious about trying to be planet-friendly. The package says not to force the threads between your teeth, but my teeth are very close set so I really had to. In spite of that the double carbon-bamboo threads are so strong they could handle the challenge. Ordinary dental floss will shred in my mouth unless it is the waxed glide brand. I use a Waterpick that I thought was doing a good job between my teeth, but when I used these flossers after the Waterpick they removed more debris I didn't know was there. I definitely recommend them, and even better they are considerably less expensive than similar products. Read more
