Foille Special Ointment 5 Count

Love this product. Our family has been using it since the 50's. It works on burns, cuts, bruises, bites and stings. It saves me from having 5 or 6 tubes of first aid creams. I keep them in the house, car, camper and give about half of them away to people who have never heard of it. A couple examples: I gave a tube to a friend and his wife. She was heating a cast iron skillet to cook fish. She grabbed the handle and instantly had a bad burn. She started running her hand under cold water and called for her husband to get the Foille. It is oil based so she dried her hand just long enough to get Foille smeared all over it then ran it under the cold water until all the heat was gone out of her hand. She had no blister and her palm did not even peel. I have used this ointment many times after banging myself on something I know will cause a bruise. Over the years I have learned to spread it far out around where the actual pain is. Otherwise, there will not be a bruise where I put the Foille but there will a circle bruise around where the Foille was at. Have talked to numerous doctors and pharmacists about this product. Originally, I got this product to deal with the pain of impinged toenails before the toenails can be fixed. It's an excellent antiseptic ointment. It's not an antibiotic ointment, but I find it works well for scrapes, torn cuticles, and minor wounds. I clean the wound and then apply the ointment. You can apply a bandage thereafter if needed. I even use it on my dogs' skin irritations as long as it's in a place they can't lick easily. It helps them too. Read more

I am a gardener and never, never fail to "injure' myself several times a week while maintaining my garden. Yes, I forget to put on my gloves as usual. I get horrible reactions to mosquitoes. I have tried every home remedy and over the counter stuff-this is the only stuff that gives me relief. Only wish they sold it in stores ! Read more
