This is, hands-down, the best carpet and upholstery cleaner I have ever used. Was first introduced to it 20 years ago, and it is my go to for any stain. It lifts the stain, any residual odor, and you honestly will never know anything had occurred. I now buy it by the gallon so I can refill the smaller quart bottles. I have found the best way to use it is to spray the stain liberally, rub it in with your fingers, cover with paper towels and press the paper towels into the stain. Allow it to dry thoroughly. This is my go to stain remover. With kids, 2 dogs, and 2 cats I feel like I’m constantly getting stains out of something. It has worked well for various surfaces/materials. The only drawback I noticed is, recently my dog got sick on the carpet and I immediately used this, but it didn’t do much for removing the stain.
