This is crazy! We had 8-9 black stains on our family room carpet and we thought that our cat got in chimney and got char on him. We decided to call Stanley Steemers to have all of our hardwood floors deep cleaned, furniture cleaned and our carpet before the holiday at the tune of $1,000. When them got to family room they tried everything on the black spots to no avail and gave up. I decided to research spot cleaners and this product kept coming up with great reviews but at $28 it seemed pricey but thought if it even worked half as good as the reviews, it would be worth it. Well, the reviews were right and I am now a 100% fan. I started spraying on the spots and just like others said, you could see the spot disappearing. On a couple of them, I went back to dab with a towel and had trouble finding them. lol I did have to treat twice on the larger/darker stains but not a big deal. Anyway, I have never written a strong positive review like this on any product but this purchase prompted me to spread the word on how well it worked. Keep in mind, I got all of the stains removed “after” I had the carpet cleaned by Stanley Steemer who said they tried but there wasn’t anything else they could do. I honestly can’t believe how well the Folex Professional Carpet Spot Remover worked. I had coffee and tea stains that had been sitting in my carpet for almost 10 years — even professional carpet cleaners couldn’t get them out. I figured nothing would ever work, but I decided to give Folex a try, and I’m genuinely shocked at the results. After just a few sprays and a light blotting, those old stains started disappearing right in front of me. It worked like magic on coffee and tea stains — the carpet looks brand new again! When it comes to deeper red stains, it takes a bit more effort (I had to repeat the process a few times), but even then, it made a huge difference. Overall, this product is amazing. I have yet to come across another carpet cleaner that ERASES stains completely. I recently bought a giant cream colored area rug for my living room (with a dog, 2 cats and kids) and have already gone through half this bottle, but my cream rug is still cream, no stains in sight. I barely use my little green machine anymore, this works just as good if not better for spot cleaning. If you pretreat with this and then use the little green machine/carpet cleaner- stains don’t stand a chance. I’ve gotten Cheeto & dorito stains, wine, blue sharpie, dog puke, chocolate stains and so much more out with this. New & old stains! You don’t even have to rub/dab it. Just spray and watch the stain disappear. I will NEVER not have folex on hand. Best way I can describe it- if you’ve ever used the miss mams messy mouth stain spray for clothes, this is equivalent for carpet. When I get down to 1/4 bottle, I order a new one.
