This food kitchen scale has been a great addition to my counter. The size is perfect because it does not take up much room, yet it handles up to 22 pounds without any trouble. The functionality is smooth and the tare feature responds quickly, which makes cooking and baking easier. The backlit LCD is clear and easy to read in any lighting. The scale quality feels solid and the durability has held up well with daily use. For the price, the value for money is excellent because it performs like a higher end model. The looks are clean and modern, so it fits in nicely with the rest of my kitchen tools. Overall, the mix of durability, size, functionality, scale quality, value for money, and simple good looks makes this a dependable kitchen scale. Read more

Handsome, accurate, small battery powered scale - Great value & pretty enough to leave on the counter. The nice looking scale is battery powered, and is pretty enough to simply leave on your kitchen counter, assuming you have enough counter space. POWER OPTIONS The scale comes with two AA batteries already installed, so you simply need to push the ON/OFF button once, and you are in business. Additionally, the scale comes with a short power cable, which can be plugged into any cell phone charger with a USB-A female port. As the scale uses very little power, almost any USB wall charger plug should work; I used my iPhone's tiny cube charger (with 5W or 3A?) for a basic test, and it worked fine. The wired power option is a nice touch, but two AA batteries will last at least one year, and the cord and a random USB wall charger is just more unnecessary clutter. TWO WEIGHING PLATES Removing the blue plastic protective film reveals a stainless steel surface which will be most often used for weighing items. However, the stainless steel plate can be removed, and the naked white plastic surface may also be used. The stainless steel plate weighs 101g, so you have to adjust your results, or quickly recalibrate scale to account for the 101g missing. REFERENCE WEIGHING I took a tub of rice and weighed it on this scale, and then on my old scale. I have not performed any calibration functions on either scale, and my old scale is well used and about four years old. The new scale reported 750.6g, where my old scale reported 752g. My amateur observations assume that they are both within an acceptable 1g deviation for something that weighs more than 1.5lbs. Since neither scale has been calibrated, I cannot determine which was the more accurate scale, just that they are both probably close to the real number. SUMMARY The scale is straightforward, good looking, and has a small footprint that allows it to live on your kitchen counter or in one of your drawers. More than accurate enough for kitchen use, and a great all around value. Read more

This scale worked well and seemed to be accurate. I have a 500 gram standard weight and the scale matched the match exactly. I like that this scale has a calibration function so that if the scale drifts in accuracy it can be recalibrated. The display is bright and easy to read even at an angle. I also like that the scale has a removable metal cover for the scale platform. The cover is great as you can remove it for cleaning if needed. I found the buttons to be a negative. They were hard to ready as they have dark lettering and a dark background. The scale looks nice but it doesn't scream high quality from the design. It's perfectly functional but the esthetic didn't impress me. Read more

If you're looking to accurately measure food for portion control, weight loss, or baking, this scale is a must-have. It's extremely precise and responds quickly, which is exactly what you need whether you're counting macros or measuring flour down to the gram. The stainless steel surface looks sleek and is easy to clean, and the bright LCD display is easy to read even in a dim kitchen. I also love that it’s compact enough to leave on the counter without taking up much space, but it’s still big enough to weigh plates and bowls. The multiple units (grams, ounces, pounds, etc.) are super convenient, and the tare function works perfectly. Great everyday kitchen tool — highly recommend! Read more

I am very pleased with this kitchen scale. When I first opened it, I was disappointed, as I saw the cord that went with it, and I thought I’d have to find something to make it work, like my laptop. Well, thank goodness I was wrong, because not only is it battery powered - it also comes with two AA batteries! I thought that was a nice touch. The scale is super easy to use. You simply open the box, take off the stickers, turn it on, and BAM! It works! It weighs grams or ounces, and you can also use it to count the number of items. It is not large, as you can see from my pictures (I used an apple to show you), but it’s a good size for a normal home kitchen. It seems to be high quality and durable. I highly recommend this product! Read more

I have lots of shoes, some of which are fairly rare and worth more than I originally paid for them. I am going to start selling the shoes through an online marketplace for pre-owned, collectable goods. To sell online, I need to be able to accurately weigh and charge the correct postage for each pair of shoes. This Digital Kitchen Scale is exactly what I need for the job. The scale is easy and straightforward to use. It even has a tare function. It runs on either 2 AA batteries or any USB wall charger plug should work to plug in and charge through a USB-A. I prefer using batteries as an option, avoiding the need of a USB wall charger. I have a small kitchen with no available counter space and so I appreciate that the scale is small and doesn’t take up much room. I have a permanent spot for storing the scale in a cabinet over the fridge, sitting on its side to fit in the small space. Read more
