I had another AirPods Max case before this one. It was bulky and thick. With a canvas exterior. It was okay but I always wanted something better. I looked at several cases on Amazon and this one kept peaking my interest. I opted for the blue one and hoping it was be a dark blue in person. It’s a very dark blue that matches the midnight AirPods Max color. It’s very sleek. Thinner than my other case and shorter. It doesn’t feel as massive in the hand or in my bag when I pack it with other stuff. It has a leather like exterior and felt interior. There’s a place to place your charging cable and the magnets work properly. I have placed my AirPods Max in this case without the bra sleeve and it immediately disconnects from my devices. Lastly I’ve seen a couple of reviews criticizing this case for pushing down the volume crown when. You put the AirPods Max in it. All you have to do is not fully retract the headphone bands to 100% closed. A good 90 to 95% is good to give clearance to the volume crown to not be pressed when storing the AirPods. This is a much more robust solution to travelling with AirPod Maxs than the silly bra that comes with the headphones. The case fits the headphones even when they are in the bra, and it can activate the power off feature. All in all, a good solution. The only downside is size, but until Apply make the cans foldable, there really is no way to make a smaller case. Read more

If you spend the amount of money on these headphones, you probably want to protect your investment. The neoprene case that the headphones come with provides no protection at all. I found this case and it had a very high rating and rave reviews. I really like how sturdy the case is. It is also one of the few cases that have storage for the cord. It is also pretty neat that you can use this case in conjunction with the original case.I have not tried it though, but it would give the phones an extra level of protection. The case is supposed to automatically put the phones in standby mode when you put them in the case and connect to bluetooth when taken out of the case. I have not have much success with this feature though. I do not know if it the case or my phones, but every time I get them out of the case, I have to plug them into a power source to get them to wake up and connect. Having to do that really gets annoying. Outside of that, the case is pretty good. It is compact enough to fit in my laptop bag and travels well. I hope that the wake up issue fixes it self and then the case would be perfect. Read more

Love this case! I purchased one for my AirPods Max and liked it so much we bought another one for my wife's. The case is well made with sturdy construction and nice zippers. I appreciate the small internal compartment for a charging or audio cable. It is fairly slim and fits easily in our suit case or packs. Read more
