I have been putting together a "trip kit" of chargers and cords for when I have to travel - I'm tired of collecting all my chargers and and cords from around the house and then returning them all when I get home. The chargers have both a USB-C plug and a USB-A plug. They are more than powerful enough for fast charging on my Galaxy S25 as well as my iPad Air 11-inch - individually or while charging something else at the same time. With a cord plugged into both sockets and items charging, super-fast charging happens on phone/ipad through the type-C cord, and the type-A charging, at 10w, is enough to charge the keyboard for my ipad. The cords that come in the set are both c-to-c and work for fast-charging on all my newer electronics. The cord coating has smooth rubbery feeling to it. They are just under 69 inches long, not including the plugs at the ends. The plug ends extend a little over a quarter-inch down the cords to help ensure the ends don't come disconnected from the cord, but there is very little flexibility to the piece that extends - so we'll see how the coating and the connection to the plugs does over time - although since I don't intend to be using daily, I anticipate that won't be a huge issue for me. If you’re using these blocks for a phone or tablet that normally pulls around 20 watts, you won’t get anything above that. Apple ships iPhones and iPads with 20 watt blocks because that’s the charging limit built into the devices. With that in mind, this larger 65 watt block won’t make them charge faster. It will let me charge both devices at the same time without slowing either one down. I have other dual port blocks that are only 25 watts total, and those definitely split into about 12 watts per device, which means a noticeably slower charge. With this 65 watt block, my iPad Pro and iPhone both stay at their normal charging speed, exactly as Apple designed them to. This doesn’t apply to larger devices or laptops that can actually take advantage of higher wattage. Larger electronics can benefit from the extra power. But for phones and tablets, don’t expect a speed boost. Some reviews describe “game changing fast charging,” but that’s simply not how these devices work. I initially believed those claims too, and now that I understand the wattage limits, I want to help others avoid the same confusion. I also don’t see any specs that the included white cords are any higher capacity. That means with this set-up you’re not exceeding 20 watts anyways. You’ll need higher capacity cords. The good news is these blocks work great for my needs. They let me charge two devices simultaneously at full, normal speed, 20 watts, which is exactly what I needed. 4 stars because it’s very misleading to claim "fast charging" when that's not exactly true.
