We live in a house built in 1910. In the style of the time, it has very high ceilings, and the lighting isn't the greatest. I usually sit at the dining room table to apply makeup and style my hair as the bathroom is very small and our morning schedules overlap. As anyone who has reached a level 64 in life, my eyes aren't the greatest. I bought this mirror in hopes that I could overcome my NFL linebacker level application of eye liner and mascara. Wow! What a difference! It works, and it works very well. The side magnification mirror panels are the greatest. The light has multiple functions, and multiple levels of brightness in each. Since I work under fluorescent lights, I choose that lighting function and it is awesome. My eye makeup no longer looks like the 5th member of KISS. I can see where to apply concealer, pluck random stray hairs and how blended my eyeshadow is. The mirror is small enough to store easily. This may well be the top purchase I've made this year! The closing doors are a plus, as this will be moved around a lot and I don't want to risk getting fingerprints all over it when I do. The stand feels quite sturdy and overall this is a good mirror for the price. Cons: The battery life seems pretty low, and it takes quite a long time to charge. The light could be brighter. This is a fabulous mirror! The stand is solid, no wobbles. The magnifying mirror is good but my 77 year old eyes need high number magnifying. You can’t go wrong buying this. I bought one for my travel bag, as well. The lights are bright. It’s easy to do eyeliner perfectly. Read more

overall, it’s a very lovely mirror. The brightness is amazing. The size is perfect, but my only downside is the lighting on the mirror doesn’t change. I’ve clicked a little button. I pressed lightly. I pressed all over it’s on. I can see the light lol I just don’t know what to do.
