Only 2 thing preventing from it getting a 5 star. 1, when closing the screen the back cover tab occasionally catches preventing full closure without pulling the tab out and shutting after the screen closes. Also the front cover protector seems to scratch way more and easily than previous models. A little disappointing, but all in all a good buy! Read more

I really wanted to like this case because visually it looks fantastic. The gold finish gives the Galaxy Z Fold a very premium, almost luxury feel, and the inclusion of an S Pen holder and kickstand makes it seem like a complete package on paper. Unfortunately, once you actually start using it, the downsides become very obvious. First and most important: this case is flimsy. The plastic feels thin and lightweight in a way that does not inspire confidence. For a phone as expensive and delicate as a Z Fold, you expect solid rigidity and impact resistance. This case simply doesn’t provide that. If the phone were dropped, I honestly wouldn’t trust this case to protect it from anything more than a very minor bump. The fit is another issue. While it technically snaps on, it doesn’t feel snug or secure. There’s a slight looseness that makes the phone feel less stable in the hand, especially when opening and closing the fold. Over time, that kind of movement can be more annoying than protective. The S Pen holder, while convenient in theory, also contributes to the flimsy feeling. It doesn’t feel reinforced, and I wouldn’t trust it to stay intact if the phone takes any kind of hit. The kickstand works, but again, it feels more like a novelty feature than something built for long-term durability. Protection-wise, this case offers minimal drop protection. There’s very little shock absorption, barely any raised lip around the screen or camera, and no rugged reinforcement at the corners—exactly where protection matters most. This is far more of a cosmetic case than a protective one. To be fair, the case is lightweight, doesn’t add much bulk, and looks great from a distance. If your phone mostly lives on a desk and you’re extremely careful, this might be acceptable. But if you’re buying this thinking it will genuinely protect your Z Fold, you’ll be disappointed. Bottom line: Nice design, poor durability. It looks premium but does not protect like it should, especially for a phone in this price range.
