This is a basic phone mount for a MagSafe- compatible phone. The corner wrapping design of the mount does securely fasten to the Tesla screen without damaging it. Features one arm that rotates around the base, with the standard ball socket phone mount which gives a modicum of tilt for adjustability of the phone position. So the phone is in a fixed plane around the screen, which is fine, altho other mounts offer pivoting 3D action to be able to adjust the phone forward and back, too, this one is only in one plane of adjustment. This is a STRONG magnet mount (yay!). Very securely holds your phone in place, regardless of whether your phone is in a MagSage case, or just by itself, or in a non MagSafe-enhanced case. It just works! Installation was simple- join the ball socket joint of the base to the phone mount, select a corner of the Tesla screen, align the corners of the mount with the screen, then tighten the base using the knob until secure. Took less than 2 minutes from start to finish. Easy to remove, too- just loosen the base on the screen mount and it lifts off with no marks or residues left behind. This is a great design for car phone mount options in a Tesla where inserting things into the vent grills, or sticking things to the dash just aren’t possible due to the design of the cars. The media could not be loaded. What a great little gadget that I have found multiple uses for (car, laptop, etc.). The mount itself is very well constructed and sturdy. Installation was a breeze and it attached in less than a minute. I did find that my phone 'jiggles' when traveling on fairly smooth roads (thus the 4 star instead of 5). After looking on the web, I was pleased to find this mount costs much less than comparable mounts. Being mounted to the corner allows full view of the screen and phone without disrupting my view out the window.
