I love the resurgence of late 90s and early 2000s style clothing. I think I had similar pants two decades ago. I am a fan of cargo pants because I feel like they give me some shape. These fit well. They might be snug because you expect a very relaxed fit, and these seem to be more fitted for cargo. There is no stretch to these. The black is nice, and the length is right on. It’s a mid-rise pant, giving you those extra inches of coverage. The material (rayon) and quality (decent) are as expected for the price point. These pants embrace your curves. At first, I thought they were too tight, but the material is comfy and stretches enough that I don't have to worry about any accidents when sitting down, crouching or squatting. I love the pockets as they're all functional (no fake/fashion pockets here). so the ones on your hips and the ones on your thighs can all hold your day to day items. It's true to size and, as a 5'10" person, I found that Medium size fit very will with a little bunching at ankle. These pants are wide-legged, so while they are clingy in the thighs, they are much baggier south of the knees. If you need to put boots under them, they would be able to fit under the pants leg. The pants are billed as "black" but they look more like a charcoal grey or dark grey to me, I'll have to see what they look like after a couple washes. Read more
