These work great and provide a MUCH better thumb grip than the stock PS5 thumb sticks do. If you fail to PROPERLY put the caps on the thumbsticks then they will not stay on. You MUST make sure the plastic lip goes COMPLETELY over the thumbstick or else it will pop off. I finished playing Returnal with these thumbstick covers on (15+ hrs) and never once did the caps come off the thumbsticks. Aside from the proper installation these work great, it got rid of the slippery aspect of the stock thumbstick and I would even hazard to say that if you have really soft and sensitive thumbs, the texture MIGHT be a bit rough on your thumbs. My husband's controller (Eagles) got a torn pad on the left analog stick. We just wanted something simple to use to revitalize it. After reading many reviews, we chose this set. We're very satisfied with this purchase. They were pretty simple to pop on and they have a very grippy texture. The only issue is that they can pop off during use depending on how hard you are on the stick, but some reviews recommended using a bit of glue to secure the pad. I have been having difficulty finding caps for ps3 sticks that became tacky with age. On a ps4 controller (CUH-ZCT1U) these work as advertised: turn them inside out, and pop! they're on with very little fuss. On a ps3 controller (CECHZC2U) the stick tops seem to be a touch bigger. These do fit, but only just barely. It takes more work to get them on: turn inside-out, make sure they're perfectly centered, stretch opposite sides over the edges, then while holding the cap in place with one thumb, pick at the edges that didn't make it all the way down until they're even all the way around. Once they're on they seem pretty secure. To be clear: the item description doesn't promise that these work for ps3. Other products that do claim to work on ps3 controllers have numerous reviews saying that they do not, so... I'm posting this in the hope that this will be a useful signpost for other ps3 users wondering the dangerous amazon.com product wilderness. Probably by the time you read this, amazon will have have filled this bin with some other manufacturer's product that is slightly different and won't actually work, so: caveat emptor. 4 stars only because I'm not a super fan of the knubby texture, but it's a definite improvement over tacky. NOT compatible with Nintendo Switch devices, which is the whole point of my purchase. These are not as advertised. Will work fine for other console controllers but will be returning these for a refund as these were not what I was looking for and am disappointed that it was advertised as such. Read more

Bought these because one of the original grips on my joysticks was a bit messed up. Great feel, but they are a bit loose on the controller and come off when pushing hard on the stick. Put the originals back on and now they're both messed up. Read more

I bought a pair of these same grips from eBay and they are just as fantastic. I purchased them off Amazon because I wanted them to ship faster. I play a lot of games both online and offline and my thumbs can sometimes get blisters from the analog stick on the DualShock control. These grips allow for me to have more grip with less strain on my thumbs as I play. These come in handy when you are playing games that utilize the analog sticks a lot like first person shooters, rpgs, and even some fighting games like Brawlhalla. Definitely worth the investment!
