My dog IS highly intelligent and it is very difficult to find things that keep his interest and challenge him! When I rescued him, the shelter sent him home with a treat/food puzzle that took him a few minutes. This particular product is so well made, which is rare to find these days! The thick heavy duty canvas-like material is sewn together so well! I pulled and pulled on them and they aren't going anywhere. The outside is also very high quality. It seems to be made of a very thick sturdy rubber material. After I put treats in I toss it on the floor and it bounces lightly- seems indestructible with basic use. My dog is also a chewer but so far he hasn't chewed on it, I think because he enjoys it so much it's definitely his favorite "toy". You won't be disappointed with this purchase! Read more
I got this snuffle toy for my border collie - heeler mix. I'm always looking for new puzzles and feeding toys for her. This one looked different and interesting. It feels well-made and solid. The 'straps' that tuck inside feel well attached and like they will last. They don't seem to be easily tearable. It was a bit frustrating putting the food in. It took a long time, first to pull out all the straps, then to load a few pieces in each one and roll it up and stuff it in. I don't mind that so much, but as I moved the toy around loading it, pieces I had already loaded fell out from the other sides. When I finally gave it to my dog, she had quite a bit of trouble actually pulling the straps out. She may get better at it with time. I eventually helped her by partially pulling the straps out and holding the toy while she pulled. It did keep her occupied for quite a while and she didn't seem frustrated. I'll keep using it, although maybe not super often due to how much time it takes to load. Read more
I purchased this in hopes of providing my dog with some puzzle time. It last all of a few minutes before she managed to chew the corner off. I removed it from her right away. I will say that the quality is great though. She just is an aggressive chewer. The material is very thick. I doubt she would have been able to chew through it very quickly. The color is bright, and my dog enjoyed while she had access to it. I recommend this for light to medium chewers only. The price was decent for the quality. I'm sure it will make a fun toy for a curious dog who doesn't want to descimate every toy she is given. Read more
My dog loves this toy! It takes a few minutes to load it up, rolling the treats into the canvas pieces and stuffing them into the cube, but it's worth the effort because it gets him a solid 15-20 minutes of enjoyment, which is more than most puzzle toys. Sometimes if I roll them too tightly he has some trouble getting them out, but for the most part he has gotten the hang of it! The price was reasonable and we have gotten a lot of use out of it. I will certainly buy another one if this one ever fails. Read more
Waste of money and poorly made. My 11 month old golden retriever destroyed it within a week and swallowed a bunch of the pieces. Really disappointed in the quality of this toy given the price, not to mention the potential choking hazard it poses. Read more
This was a great toy, I put one treat inside the loop, folded it over and rolled another treat inside. Took about 5 minutes prep. She was occupied for a good long time, the fabric is tough like a seatbelt weave but the yellow is like silicone, so I pick it up so she can't destroy it. Great value for what I paid, it really tires her out and occupies her for a good long time. Read more
I was wondering if the dog would get frustrated, but she works it for ~30 minutes- great entertainer. There’s a bit of damage to the canvas straps after a few rounds but definitely getting my money’s worth. Read more
