This is an absolutely perfect tote! I went for the retro looking taupe/ tan patterned one and oh boy I love it! The bag is very light, roomy enough to hold my 16 inch MacBook Pro with plenty of room left for other things like a water bottle, snacks, wallet, etc. I LOVE the fact that it has two outside pockets for quick and easy access, both with magnets! There is also a zipped pocket inside, and the bag is fully lined. I was (again) impressed by Fossil's attention to detail also when it comes to packaging their products. The good: It’s the perfect everyday size bag with enough small compartments to make your life easier while running around. I bought both the Medium Brown and Black. I would not place this in the same category as a Coach bag because the leather here is soft and lightweight and I doubt this bag will last years and years; however, it will be good for a while. The bad: The bottom needs stability, so I had to cut a long piece of cardboard into a strip to fit on the bottom of the bag. Unless you do this, anything heavy in the bag will cause the bottom to sag downward, which is not a good look. With that being done, I put everything back into the bag and it no longer sags. It fits Very comfortably on the shoulder without slipping off. The top zipper will keep your things covered and safe. For this sale price on Amazon, the bag is worth the money. Read more

I’m retired but still need tote to carry important journals, laptop etc. Fossil bags have always been quality leather and have comfortable shoulder straps at the right length. This bag has long zip so opening the bag is easy, 2 inside slip pockets and a full zip pocket. Your items will be so organized and you’ll look great carrying the bag. Nothing beats a Fossil Bag. 12/26/23 This is an update to my previous review below. This bag was advertised as 100% cowhide leather. While the body of the bag is intact and real leather, the handles are not!! Now I have spent almost $150 in a bag whose handles are peeling off (look at the picture). What a scam!!!! Original review: Exactly as advertised. I like that I am a big woman and the handles are long enough as well as the size of the purse. It fits everything I need and has a lot of extra space. I specifically loved the 2 hidden pockets at the front and back of it. They have a magnetic closure and are perfect for your cellphone and keys respectively. I purchased in April 2020 and this bag is still my favorite daily work bag. Durable enough for when I have extra work to bring home (as pictured). The straps have not yet begun to gray or tear like most do after so much use. The perfect size to keep what I typically need: laptop, planner, makeup bag, wallet, water bottle, with extra pockets on the outside to hold my phone/keys/masks/etc. Highly recommend and I will likely purchase the same style new color from this brand in the future!
