This foam tape is very good quality, very sticky and easy to peel the lining, well, if there is any, the 2nd time I purchased this item the lining was gone for 3/4 of one of the rolls, it was all stuck together and when I unraveled it the foam was ripped off a little bit. the box it came in was very cheap and flimsy. It’s probably really strange to be as enthusiastic about window sealing as I am, but this product is great. My portable AC window panel has two extensions but they’re markedly smaller than the main panel. I used this thick and squishy sealing around the perimeter of the panel, and it worked amazing. The adhesive is really sticky and resilient but in some areas, all I needed to do was squish between the sill and the panels. The backing can be hard to remove but once you get the squish technique down, it goes quickly. Make sure to cut it to length with the backing on or your scissors may stick. I wish it came in white. The foam seal on my standalone generator decomposed after many years and the seal was not available from the manufacturer. So I took the dimensions of my original foam seal and this was close enough in size and is heat resistant. It worked very well since I had to make this into a circle. Many reviews say it's very difficult to remove the adhesive backing paper. But, per an earlier review, someone said to just squeeze/scrunch the foam part of the foam gasket at the bottom to remove the backing paper. So when the product came in I did exactly that and the backing paper very easily peeled off and left the adhesive on the foam gasket. After removing the backing paper it was very easy to form a circle with the foam seal and I placed it on my standalone generator. Consider this, at least 2 reviews, saying the backing paper will easily come off if you squeeze/scrunch the bottom of the foam before trying to remove the backing paper off the adhesive on the top of the foam seal. The paper that covers the sticky part overhangs the end of the roll. Once you cut the first piece, it’s extremely difficult to peel the paper off of the next piece. Frustrating. Read more
