"I'm absolutely stoked with my Jungle Gi combat boots! The moment I put them on, I felt like a total boss. The rugged design and premium materials give them an edgy look that's perfect for anyone who wants to make a statement. The boots are ridiculously comfortable, and the grip is amazing – I can tackle any terrain with confidence. Whether I'm hiking, working out, or just running errands, these boots have got my back (and my feet). The quality is top-notch, and I can tell these boots are built to last. If you're looking for a pair that's both functional and stylish, look no further than the Jungle Gi combat boots. I'm obsessed!" Read more

I first got this exact same model back from Sportsman's Guide like 400yrs ago, it seems. Not just a "jungle boot", as I'd don some thick wooly sox and wear these in winter, too. Big beefy treads that let you *walk* up the side of a tree, and leave pretty impressive prints in snow vs the usual goofy array of shallow '+' patterns other boots have. I miss the quick-lace models (top 3 pairs were hooks vs holes) but these are just fine. And they're incredibly rugged. I had a pair that looked like bobofett's helmet after a few *years* of daily wear. Leather was all creased and cracked, soles were worn almost smooth, but they lasted and weren't falling apart at all. I was even considering having them resoled because they were *that* rugged and that comfortable, but the price to do so made it just simpler to buy a few more pairs. My only grex is the price, as they're more than double of what I paid back then, but to me they're still worth it, as other boots seem more like hiking boots and, well, not what I would consider mud+snow rated boots like these are. But all in all, if these hold up like my earliest pairs, I should make it years if not a decade before I'd have to replace them. Read more

I am a former 11B, pre and post 9/11. I bought these boots to complete a costume for a party, having sworn to never own or wear another pair of combat boots. This product gets its 2 stars from looking and feeling like the real thing, it looks the part and will pass inspection. It even feels comfortable. Really unforgivable about these boots is the sole, these are absolutely not hardened or meant for activity. These are indeed costume boots, as advertised, or at least what the price suggests. Upon wearing them I noticed there were black markings on the floor from just putting them on. I scuffed my foot and left a thick black mark on my floor. These boots will disintegrate if you try to do anything physical with them, to include any field training or distance marching/rucking. This boot is for wearing to and from work, if you have an office job. Maybe wear to the club. I don't understand who the target audience is for these boots. Maybe me, for a costume party. The stench of these boots is horrible. There is an obnoxious chemical smell on these boots. I have kept these boots on my porch for literally 4 full weeks, and while the chemical filth smell has decreased, I can still smell them in the corner if I bring them inside. I guess this negates the wear-them-to-an-office-job comment, as you'd probably have a headache (and maybe develop cancer) if you just sat in a cubicle with these. These get 2/5 stars simply because I can't imagine anybody benefiting from saving a few bucks to buy these, instead of paying a few bucks more for something that will last 10-times as long, not scuff floors, and not give you a headache and/or cancer. I can't even recommend these for costume boots, because of the smell. Update: 8 weeks outdoors on the deck, I brought them inside and tossed them on the boot rack. Coming home from work, my front hall had that chemical stink. It's still there, 8 weeks outdoors in the sun and wind didn't fully address the stench problem. I'm going to drop my rating to 1/5, as I can't imagine who could tolerate the chemical smell, especially if this low-quality boot is meant only for office workers. Update 2: 12 weeks out on the deck, literally outdoors in the sun and wind, 3 months. I literally flipped them every 2 weeks, so the sun wouldn't bleach one side. Three months outside?, they smell better. I brought them inside, to put them on and break them in, as my costume party is in 1 month / 4 weeks. I set them on the floor, got to straightening the laces, and was overwhelmed by an intense chemical stink. I checked above to make sure I gave this a 1/5 review, and I did. The chemical stank of this product is unreal. Read more

Bought them to wear when doing yard work, etc.. They're not made for comfort, so you may need inserts. Use care & don't go stepping on nails! And they're slippery when walking on wet slopes. After awhile, they've cracked/ripped open, where your toes bend. So much for "durable & comfortable". But if you're looking for cheap wear, to not damage/ dirty your good set, then maybe these will do. Read more

Great deal, I wear a 9.5 women’s and I got a men’s 7. Immediately used them on a hike through wet and mud and my feet stayed dry. I got one blister but the next time I wore them they were great. Read more

We got these for my son as it was part of the prescribed outfit for his marching band. We got a size 10, and it matches his size well - he wears a 10 in Nike and 9 in Chucks - he still has good room for 2 pairs of socks for comfort. He's given no complaints of rubbing or discomfort or anything so I'll say maybe they're a half size big. No issues after 3 months of use so far with wear on soles or stitching. Recommended. Read more
