This manual hand mixer is great not only for eggs but works great for pudding and simple box cake mixes. It’s lightweight and fits your hands perfectly. It can be a little daunting at first but you’ll get the rhythm and it can actually be quite fun. Kids love it!! To keep it easy to clean rinse it when you’re finished then washing it is a breeze. Even though it’s stainless steel I don’t let it set in my dish water and I spin it dry. I plan on passing this down to my son so he can experience how our great - grandmother’s cooked. What a gift!! Not what I expected at all. Was hoping it would be like the ones I had years ago, but it's not. It's very flimsy, does not have a nice smooth gear action, and sounds like someone is grinding nutshells when you use it. If lots of noise alone could make the cream whip up, then you'd have it made with this egg beater. But it takes forever to get the job done and drives you crazy with the noise at the same time. Feels like it's going to fall apart any second. Very cheaply made, I think, and would not recommend buying it. Read more
