Although I have not used the soil yet, I will be using it today, I would highly recommend not getting it through Amazon. I found the exact same product in the exact same size for much less at a nursery. I have never used Fox Farms before, but I hear a lot of good things about the soil. So based on the reviews that Iβve heard and seen of Fox Farms, I do highly recommend getting this product, just not through Amazon. Much more expensive. Read more

I used FoxFarm Strawberry Fields potting soil for my strawberry and blackberry plants. The soil quality is excellent and mold-resistant. My berries grew really well in it. The soil holds up well and lasts a long time. It's reasonably priced and an amazing value for money. Easy to use and highly recommend it. Read more

Love the whole Fox Farms line. I actually used this in a raised bed of strawberries (lololol). Magnificent results. I wish it was not so expensive. I would use this line exclusively except for price. Quality is superb. Get what you pay for, for sure. Read more
I planted them Friday around 3pm and Saturday night I had seedlings. Never had a seed germinate in 24 hours. Iβll update with photos. Sown in potting soil instead of cocoa wool..very surprisedβDecember 15, 2025β Verified purchase
Good stuff. Just donβt over water it because I noticed fungus gnats a couple days after potting. Itβs soil so bugs are going to be in itβ¦you just have to do your part to keep them from multiplying. 4.5 out of 5 Read more

This soil looks like it is just what my Strawberries needed. I ordered strawberries for a really cool stacky planter. I love Strawberries. The plants though paid twice as much and were suppose to be organic. Half were not what I expected. They looked like they would struggle because their roots were quite dry. I planted them in this soil that I felt was a little pricey at first, but turns out that the plants seemed to pick up. They may just make it after all and I do believe it was as a result of this soil. It looks pretty much like most, but evidently what is in it makes all the difference. I had a hole in the bag, likely happened coming to me, but this seller immediately sent me another bag. The Strawberry guy either ignored me or repeated the same question without ever acknowledging my concerns. I'm not happy with that strawberry guy, but I'm definitely happy with this seller and his strawberry soil, especially where those plants cost twice as much and are already responding in only a few days. I'm going to go back and read the ingredients, but man that sure is making a difference. Highly Recommended. Read more
