When choosing a BHA body wash you choose between medicinal smelling drug store ones like neutrogena, or higher cost ones with excellent smell like Aprilskin. This product is not only cheaper than Cerave and Neutrogena, but it also smells much better (although Aprilskin smell is hard to beat). I have no problems with moisture loss when using this product. It is slightly drying, but it does have BHA in it after all, and to be hydrating enough it would need to add oils which would just cause acne and defeat the purpose. In the spring and summer I don’t need lotion after this but usually for the winter. I have been using this for over a year now. I typically get mild back acne cysts and white heads, and ingrown hairs on my inner thighs. Using this product I have not really had these issues. Read more

I'm looking for a decent quality body wash that's good for your skin. According to my Google research, this kind is a great option. However, I won't be buying it again and I don't recommend it. The bottom of the bottle is round so it keeps falling over (whoever designed it needs fired). There is hardly any lather which makes it difficult to spread across your body. It requires 10 pumps to get an ok lather which is A LOT of product! One or two pumps should be fine but it's not. The texture is watery. The fragrance is ok but its faint and only lasts a couple of seconds. As far as effectiveness, it doesn't seem any different than a $3 or $5 body wash from Walmart or Dollar General. Seems over-priced. At least the ingredients claim to be better for you but my skin feels no different. I really wanted to like this product but it's not for me. Smells good, decent price, doesn’t dry out skin, lasts a while and lathers well. However, I didn’t notice this helped clear my skin. Additionally, for those who are extra sweaty, this takes a few passes to get rid of sweat and body odor. I feel like I need another body wash to actually clean myself, which I may consider if this did help with body acne, but at this point I think I’d rather look for something else. Read more
