Love this brace! I am 55 and recently injured my thumb just enough that the first knuckle clicks and pain follows - a throbbing and it radiates the pain down to my wrist. It is known as “trigger finger” and this brace is God sent! I purchased two of these so I would have a spare. The support is fantastic. The comfort is fantastic. It is actually comfortable. I have been wearing it nonstop for over a month now I do take it off to perform exercise exercises and to soak the thumb and it is getting better however, if I never got better and had to wear this this would be an awesome alternative. You don’t notice it in your sleep it’s so comfortable and during the day it gets the job done. I generally wear a glove over it when I’m doing dishes or cleaning to keep it as clean as I can I would highly recommend hand washing and hand drying it ( I tried the other way because I spilled gasoline on it and could not get the smell out so I washed it on the highest power which pretty pretty much made it look about a year old and caused the Velcro to come off) but washing it on delicate and pulling it out of the dry on a towel also worked. I can’t say enough good things about this brace. I have worn many braces in the last 30 years. This by far is the most comfortable yet has the correct structure in the thumb to keep it in place. It does without a doubt, immobilize the thumb, thus reducing pain. I found it so incredibly bulky and uncomfortable that I couldn’t wear it without fidgeting with it constantly. I gave up after a few days. It does work though. Read more

I have tried many hand braces recently and have had to return them. This is absolutely the best brace for my hand issue. I had thumb surgery a while back, as the surgery is very common in people over 50, especially women.
