Selected this item after looking at a number of others. This was the best value and construction for the price. The jaws are deep enough to accommodate phones fattened up with cellphone case and extra attachments on the back (see pic), and the jaws open up quite wide. It's easily adjustable and with 2 tripod mounting points gives it more flexibility. I bought this for recording hands-free videos of the instructor during an upcoming music workshop. Read more
