Mattress waterproof protector arrived in a reasonable amount of time with all the holiday packages being sent. Is actually slightly bigger than our California King mattress, but fitted perfectly. Had a heavy plastic smell when opening and unfolding the waterproof protector, but seems to be less odor after a few days. All one piece on the top (no seams to leak liquid through) elastic sides, so any liquid shouldn't go through to the mattress. Don't know the longevity, but even if needing to order a new one every year, it's well worth the $20 spent. Read more

These are just like the ones at big box stores, but a little cheaper. They fit over the mattress and keep everything wet out, which is important with a young child. I've got a 6" mattress and these fit fine over it -- no ripping or thinning. I wouldn't jump on them, though. Like the one you find at stores, you have to replace these every 6 months or so. Does its job of keeping the mattress dry from kid accidents. Smells horrible right out of the package of strong chemical smell, i let it air out outside for a day. Hand wash to prevent tearing as the material is thin. We have had several of these and they last about a year. Read more
