Good microwave and price - large, powerful, and quiet. Will have to wait a few years to see how well it holds up. Note that the trim kit costs at least half as much as the microwave - it was a necessity as I was unable to find a replacement-in-kind for my 10-yr old failed microwave, and my metal-working skills were insufficient to fabricate a new trim from scratch. The media could not be loaded. This microwave is a great value for the money! They don’t make many options of the microwaves with trim kits like we were looking for in this space. This allows us to have a range hood over our stove, and the microwave out of the way. There is a locking feature which makes it safe to have down low if you have kids. The size is good, we were able to install it in a 30 inch microwave cabinet (note we also shrunk cabinet depth to 21 inches to save some space and it fit great). Looks sleek with the trim kit. Otherwise a good quality, easy to use microwave with all of the functions you need for every day use. Read more

I bought this to replace a GE that only lasted two years. I love that this one is quiet and fit with my existing trim kit (even tho they want to sell theirs for $250 I didn't need it). The child lock is definitely a pain so I disabled it which the manual explains how to do and is simple. Can't give it 5 stars because not sure how long it will hold up yet. Read more

We recently replaced our old microwave with the Frigidaire Gallery Series and I couldn’t be happier with the choice. The 2.2 cu. ft. capacity is perfect for our family and gives us plenty of space to heat up large dishes, casseroles, or even a big plate of leftovers without feeling cramped. It heats food evenly and much faster than our old one. The stainless steel finish looks very sleek and modern, and it matches perfectly with our other Frigidaire Gallery appliances. It really makes our kitchen look more put together. Even though the trim kit is sold separately, once it’s installed it has that true built-in look that I was going for. The controls are easy to use and the display is bright and clear. I like that it has multiple preset cooking options because it takes the guesswork out of things like defrosting meat or reheating pizza. It’s also surprisingly quiet for such a large microwave. We’ve used it for everything from popcorn to reheating big bowls of soup to cooking frozen vegetables and it handles it all perfectly.
