Great microwave, no issues. Hope it last as long as the one it replaced (15+ years). One minor annoyance, but not enough to take a star oof, as I suspect most new microwaves are adding this feature... the door locks after use. You have to press a button to unlock the door before you can open it. Probably some child safety nonsense, but annoying for grown adults. I do like the slightly larger interior (as compared to the one it replaced), and it seems to cook more evenly (although that may have been because the old one was getting old). If the oven below it dies, I'll definitely get the matching oven. Read more

This works great, fits perfectly & looks sleek. The only thing I’d change is the unlock button you have to press before opening. Read more

Didn’t last a year. This luxury microwave was not quality controlled. Magnetron died after 9 months and 3 days after purchase. Read more

Great value for the money. Replaced an old Viking microwave. Perfect fit in the cabinet without any changes. Bought a surround trim separately and have had several compliments on its appearance. Works much better than anticipated. Arrived on time and really well boxed. Read more

Perfect fit for my 30 inch space. The microwave is huge, 1500 watts and quiet. The clock light doesn’t stay on constantly which we love. There is a safety lock that is enabled right with opening and it can be disabled. Read the manual. The trim kit is sold separate even though the ad shows it in photo. Read more

This microwave works fine although popping popcorn took me a couple weeks of experiments with my silicone popper. If you just use the regular popcorn settings, the popcorn just burns. I finally reduced the amount I used and moving the container to the edge of the rotating plate keeps it from straight up burning although you still have to use a custom time. The popcorn button is basically worthless. I also had to turn off the beep because it doesn't just beep once or twice to remind you something is done, it beeps til you come back and open the door. I cook oatmeal by heating it for 2 minutes and then letting it sit for 20. All it took was one morning for me to get out the manual and figure out how to disable the beeps. And finally, it has two buttons that do the same thing. If you just push the Start button, it starts a run for 30 seconds. If you push the 30 second button, it does the same thing. You can only push the start button once, so if you want a minute, you have to push the 30 second button twice or the 1 button with a 2 second start delay. It's wild to me that they didn't just set the start button to a minute since the 30 second button exists. I feel like Samsung needs to have a conversation with their UI designers honestly. I think other people have complained about the child lock but you can just disable it. Also as other people have pointed out, this microwave is all black, there is no stainless steel unless you also buy the very expensive trim kit. But it meets my super basic needs (cooking oatmeal in the morning, making popcorn, melting butter sometimes, heating water for tea). Read more

We replaced our 12 year old Electrolux (Frigidaire). Fit perfectly in the same space and is an excellent replacement Could not be happier Read more

The microwave is fine but describing it as a built-in is misleading. It is a set-in. I bought this to replace an Electrolux which came with a metal bracket for the unit to sit on so it would not move. This unit has nothing to keep it from shifting so if intended to be built in the buyer would need to devise something to make sure it doesn't shift - especially if a trim piece is installed around the face.
