I was surprised that the original bases started to leak. It appears that they were made of cheap, thin material, and the wrench provided with the filters put enough pressure on the base to make it leak. Read more

I bought these a VERY long time ago and only installed them recently. The reason was that my frizzlife filter sprung a leak. The old model caps leaked after about 2yrs, hopefully these will hold on for a bit longer. Read more
