It's not large and does not make a lot at once but oh boy how well it works. This made my life better. I have Crohn's and what that means for me is that the mushier it is, the easier it is to digest and get nutrition from. The unit is rock solid and performs well. Summer will be easier to keep cool using this machine :) **Instructions are sketchy~ with conflicting advice (only use frozen, never use frozen..). We're giving some pointers here. Read before using... Freeze small chunks of fruit. When you want to juice it or make fruit sorbet, take fruit out of freezer, let it sit 10 minutes before loading into machine. At base of 'neck', there is a black 'push to swivel' lever; this opens the juicer spout. If you're making juice, open it. If you're making ice cream, close it. To remove/clean the gears, there is a black button to push/release the unit. Push button, swivel round plastic juicer/ice cream nozzle to release. See photos for pointing fingers showing the above instructions :) We included a close-up of the clear plastic and black final end piece where they connect; they screw together when threads are lined up :) Very EASY to clean ! See photo of exploded parts to put it back together~ Unit is not very loud (like a hand-mixer) and the process is slooow but don't be in a hurry. The end result is great ! Our first batch, we used frozen cherries. We squeezed them first to make sure all pits were removed. Then simply dropped them down the black tube/shoot. You can watch the auger do it's magic and the ice cream feeds out at the end. We also tried adding some milk with the cherries; it makes a looser ice cream but it's okay. Because we chose cherries (unsweetened) the ice cream was quite tart (some may love that~) I prefer a sweeter blend so added sugar to the mix and it improved the product for me :) Leftovers go in the freezer. There is a plastic coated label on the 'shelf' where you feed fruit. I didn't want that in place but it took peeling off the plastic film then using water to soak and finally goo-gone to remove the adhesive. Not a big issue but it's your call on that. Almost all the fruit puree processed through; there was very little waste and took just 2 minutes to wash up ! I picked this up to get more fruits and vegetables into my diet without a lot of fuss. The machine is smaller than I expected which is nice because it does not take up much counter space. It does a great job getting the juice out. The pulp comes out almost dry so nothing feels wasted. I was surprised by the sorbet function too. I threw in some frozen strawberries and it came out smooth and tasty. Easy to use. Cleaning takes a little time but it comes apart simply and the brush helps. Got us this to get into juicing as part of our health kick. I’m almost 40, so getting more vegetables in my diet seemed like a smart move. Enter this cold press juicer—and honestly, it’s a solid five-star machine. What impressed me most is how much juice it extracts. I wasn’t sure about the whole “slow masticating” claim, but it actually works. I ran carrots, apples, and spinach through it, and the leftover pulp was almost completely dry. Nothing feels wasted—which is great considering how pricey produce can be. It’s also surprisingly quiet. I can make juice early in the morning without sounding like I’m firing up power tools. And the juice quality? Smooth, rich, and not foamy or separated like the old high-speed juicers. My only real complaint is the cleaning. To be fair, that’s true for every juicer. The box saying “easy to clean” might be a bit generous, but it does come apart easily, and the included brush works well. You just have to do the full clean every single time. Plus, you’ll need to chop fruits and veggies into smaller pieces to fit the chute, so there’s a little prep time involved. But overall, I’m very satisfied. It’s well-built, efficient, and—best of all—I can make a pineapple-spinach-apple juice both my daughters will actually drink. That alone makes the prep and cleanup worth it. I wasn't sure what to expect from this device. I think how it makes fruit come out looks a lot more appetizing in the pictures than in real life. Almost like ice cream! Nonetheless, this is definitely more of a nice-have product, and possibly pretty expensive depending on al the kind of fruit you want to juice. It can give quite a bit of juice. Just depends on the fruit you are using. I wish it was a little more powerful as it can get stuck if there is too much in the nozzle at once, so you will need to clean it often. It is easy to clean though. This thing has some humming noise and mechanical noise when in use, but it's not too loud. This item is very easy to use as you just put the fruit in and push it down with the thing it comes with. But, if the fruit doesn't fit, the hole is not very big so you will have to cut it. It's build quality if decent. I wish it had more instructions on using it. Read more
