HELPFUL ADVICE: The brown pair may seem like they scuff easily and don’t arrive true to color, but they just need to be lightly brushed with a soft bristle brush since they are supposed to have a suede texture. They are likely darker in color because they are stored in the conditioned state and the fibers just need to be broken up. I just used my soft bristle hairbrush with very light circles to do this. See pics for before and after—notice the after is much closer to how they are depicted in the listing. Also, they are true to size and start out hugging your feet a little but are not painful and very quickly break in. I love these boots and have them in black as well. I’ve had the black ones for over a year, and I wear them pretty much every day with zero foot pain. I work in a machine shop and the only negative about these shoes is that they look so fashionable that the MANY male coworkers are always asking why I’m not wearing my steel toes, thinking they are about to have a safety finding and get a neat prize from EH&S 🙄 I even wear these out and about with most outfits. I absolutely LOVE these shoes! My boss mandated steel toed shoes here at work and since we have to wear dress pants I was hoping to find something classier than work boots; these are definitely that! They are super comfy to wear all day long and they look great. I would recommend sizing up a size because they are narrow in the toe. I wear a size 5 in flats and sandals but usually buy 6 in boots so I can use my own inserts. I bought size 6 and they fit great! They are great for a 6 hour day of walking back and forth, scaling ramps and handling heavy baggage. One thing I'm concerned about is the heels endurance. Im not sure but they are sort of squishy and I had to run in them the other day, they felt unstable after that. LOVE that I found a heel that's cute and compliant for my job. I recommend. Purchased these for some farm visits for work! I didn't have to get steel toe but these looked the best based on other comparable shoes from Carhart, and others. They were super comfortable and durable, and I wore them for 14 hours the first day and didn't have a single rub or issue on either foot. They weathered the rain and mud on the farm and were easy to wipe clean. The soles are a thick rubber, and performed well in mud and rain - slip resistant for sure. Highly recommend! Look good but totally uncomfortable. They cut into the back of my legs and on the front of the ankles. I don’t have huge legs either. Miserable to stand in for any length of time and forget about walking in them. Read more

At first they seem comfortable but after two days wearing them the front smaller toes started hurting especially on the left foot. They are easy to put on, somewhat heavy a little bulky I am a size 8.5 but I upsided to a 9 since it’s steel toe. If I didn’t walk in them outside I’d return them due to the pain on the toes. I've had these boots for almost a year (Oct 2024), I wear them every day. I work in manufacturing and most of the flooring is cement. I go between the office and the production floor, regularly step in machine coolant, metal shavings, water, and daily debris in the parking lot. I typically struggle with booties because I have large ankles, but I want a pair of these in every color. The fit and size are true to the description. The boots easily slide on with no pulling or struggling. They have held up very well for one year, I don't have any major scuffs or tears on the fabric or soles. I have worn them where water is pooled (parking lots, water test areas), and I would say they are semi-waterproof, only because I've not actually stood in deep enough water to know if it soaks through.
