A good mask but the instructions are lacking

I've been using this mask for weeks now and I think it has improved my skin. Focus on the reviews that talk about usage rather than just the packaging! It slips onto your head and is held in place with these stretchy straps. They're hard to adjust but once you get them in place you can leave them be. The different light modes are nice for different effects. I use mine about 25 minutes, 5x a week. It's important to remember regular usage of these masks to see any effect. Once or twice a week isn't going to cut it. The instructions are a bit lacking, for example it doesn't tell you that a green light means the battery is fully charged, but a green flashing light means it needs charged. It also doesn't explain that you need to hold the remote at eye level in order to use it, at first I thought the remote was broken. It also doesn't explain that the charger ONLY works with the included USB-C, even though it looks like a standard USB-C. If you use your phone cord with this it will not charge. Finally, it's a bit unclear on the time limits for the different colors. Sometimes it will go to 17 minutes, and other times it will show 25 minutes. I don't really get that part, I just use the max 17 minutes, and when it goes off reset for another 10. There are three brightness levels for each color of light. I use the infrared, red, and blue lights, you can look up what they do online, as that information is scarce in the packaging. I have found it needs charged once a week for a few hours. This type of unit is much nicer than the corded variety where you'll be tied to a wall outlet. It does affect your peripheral vision so be careful walking around with it on. Read more
