Max sees the vet on a regular basis. :( We were talking to Max Dr. about treatment options, and she mentioned “ Cold laser therapy.” Hmmm so it got me thinking. I purchased this one for a Max! DX: Hip dysplasia, Arthritis. We saw an improvement within 2 days! He was able to get up on his own, walk better, not great. Fast track to 1.5 months. Max can walk past 5 houses, stand to eat, runs and chases his nephew down the long hallway out the doggy door into the very large back yard. Max is even playing ball. We make sure he doesn’t over due it! Max’s treatments are. Constant for 10 minutes on his spine & nerves. 30 Minutes on each hip. This is done daily twice a day without fail.!! My husband has bad shoulders and he uses it and swears by it! It’s light weight, holds a charge for 10 sessions, comes with 1- pair of glasses and a nice sturdy case. I did purchase 4 extra pairs of glasses and goggles to protect everyone’s eyes! My gf has an older gs with the same and she bought one too. She is seeing improvements, and she uses it on her arthritic hand and thumb and saw an improvement within that night. Bought this for my lab when he hurt his back getting out of the car at the vets office. The vet used a cold laser therapy device and he was better the same day. This is what prompted me to buy this device. Although he felt better, I continued with the treatment for about a week more to make sure he healed. What’s nice about this device is you can use it on humans as well. I used it on my knee and it was very instrumental in healing and took the pain away. I would definitely recommend. Read more

Having done cold laser therapy treatment myself and on my dog before, I know this type of treatment is typically cumulative and takes a few times before it starts making a marked difference. I've used this device on my dog twice now and myself once, so it's hard to say yet how many times it will take to feel/see results, but I suspect two or three more times will be effective. For a home-use cold laser, I think this device has good power and is reasonably priced, especially when considering how much professional cold laser therapy treatments cost. There are several other things I like about this cold laser: - It's easy to use without complicated instructions or buttons that make no sense. The controls are intuitive with the exception of having to push the power button quickly again to make the laser come on. It allows you to choose settings before you actually turn on the laser, which I like. - The clear dome over the laser keeps any heat away from the skin. I have another cold laser device much like this one that does not have a dome. Neither of them get very hot, but I appreciate the fact that there's very little risk of overheating the skin with the dome attached to this one, as opposed to having the face of the laser flat against the skin like the other device. - It can be used from 5 minutes up to 60 minutes. The other one only has 3 settings in 10-minute increments and only goes to 30 minutes. This one has much more time flexibility. - The storage/carrying case is an added bonus. The other one did not include a case. - It arrived fully charged and I haven't had to recharge it yet, despite having used it for over an hour and a half of treatment time. - As far as laser devices go, this one is not as heavy as you would expect, which makes lengthy treatment times easier to manage. My dog tolerated this one much better than the other one--likely due to the lighter weight and the dome I mentioned above. I would definitely recommend this device to anyone who has pets that might benefit from treatments to reduce inflammation or muscle strains that don't require drugs or surgery (but ALWAYS see a vet before making those kinds of decisions). I would also recommend it for anyone like me who has intermittent muscle pain from an old injury, especially if you are unable to or don't want to pay upwards of $100 a visit for a similar kind of laser treatment. This device isn't as powerful as a professional cold laser, but given enough time, it will probably be equally effective. Read more

Been using on myself and pets. Battery life was great the first 2 charges. After that battery life goes down every charge and not lasting as long. Love the product very light and easy to use. Just wish the battery life span held up with use. Read more
