Not the fastest but a reliable drive
I bought this as a second drive on an HP notebook, but later moved it to an external enclosure. I used it to backup my desktop until the desktop contents exceeded it's capacity. I then moved it to a PC I built to act as a home server. This drive is cool running and quiet and faster than you would think. I'm running Windows 7 on it as the system drive, with a 1 TB shared data disk, using a mini-itx Jetway motherboard. I was shooting for low power usage and reliability. Read more
