The lining is very minimal, but they are warmer than un-lined leggings. They are the most comfortable thing I have ever worn. Like, buttery soft! I love to put these on for bed, or just for around the house after work. (I am not a legging in public kind of person, I'm just not comfortable that way. I wear jeans out, and leggings at home.) I also wore them under my jeans during cold sporting events. I highly reccomend these. The lining is a thin layer of fleece. Just keep in mind there is a difference between fleece and sherpa. Sherpa is much thicker. I was thinking of sherpa when I ordered these, but if it was sherpa lined, they would have been too thick to wear under any other clothing. These are very thick and warm. They don't hold back wind, but they're good for winter leggings. When I'm outside at an event in 30 degree weather all day I wear these, sweat pants, and a skirt and I'm comfortable. They're not see through and are a great price. Read more
