Some people must be sensitive to these to say they have an overwhelming smell. To me it barely has any scent to it at all. My closet is very full of clothes, shoes, purses, you name it. It started to get musky so I tried these and they work great. I completely forget they are in there at all! After two or three months I can tell they're losing their effectiveness and I replace them.
