I was pleasantly surprised by the FurSicle! I expected it to be a knockoff of the more popular brand, but it’s actually a great toy. It’s a good size and offers a moderate challenge for my dogs. I love that it comes with a refillable mold, making it more affordable than buying premade treats. The included stopper is a smart feature, as it lets you use regular treats too. My dogs love it! My only concern is the acorn stem; I suspect my dog might chew that part off easily. Still, the quality feels great, the pieces screw together well, and it’s absolutely worth the price. Read more
This is a excellent toy with a couple of design flaws. I love the fact that it includes a tray to make frozen treats, AND that the tray includes a cover to prevent spillage in the freezer — very thoughtful! I also love the fact that the ball is made of soft material so that it doesn't scratch hardwood floors (other similar products are made of hard plastic). The downside is that the formulation of the soft rubber/silicone is a little too soft — so much that even though the top screws into the bottom, if squeezed hard enough the ball will come apart. If they make a version 2, I'd suggest making the material a little firmer so that it retains its shape when squeezed. The more concerning design flaw is the removable piece of silicone that covers the large hole for when you want to use it as a treat dispenser/puzzle vs a frozen treat enrichment ball (see attached photo). Literally within a minute of first use, my puppy managed to pry the removable piece of silicone to get all the treats. More alarmingly, if I hadn't been supervising her I am sure she would have tried chewing and possibly even swallowed this piece. It's small enough to be a choking hazard. So while this is a great toy, I would just be careful of that removable rubber piece, and remove it yourself before your dog does. Read more

I wanted to love this more than I did. It works great, and would be perfect for medium size dogs that are NOT chewers. Unfortunately, my 40lb dog is a chewer. Once the treat was gone, she was able to pop the pieces apart and chewed off the grooves so it couldn't be screwed back together. It is made of a very soft and flexible rubber material, and the acorn stem was an instant casualty. The toy itself lasted about 3 times. If you have a dog that chews at all, either take it away immediately when the treat is gone, or find a harder and more durable toy. Read more

I was so happy to see that this was a slilicone toy! The acorn idea was genius. I like that you can also use it to put small, dry treats inside to keep your pup busy. Oddly, it's a screw top, which I've never seen before with the silocone ones. I used a bone broth to fill the little cups. When I take it out of the freezer, I'm going to add some yogurt on top and throw in some freeze-dried turkey hearts in the center. The tray has 3 fillers, so you can use a few different things at once, such as peanut butter, too. I didn't understand how the lid went on initially, but it fits perfectly, with no spills. You just need to put the lid on top and then start tucking the edges all the way around the bottom of the tray. Stick it in the freezer, and you're done! Being able to screw the top off it's pretty cool so they can finish it off quicker when it starts to melt, to avoid a mess. I absolutely love the color, and having multiple holes for treats to fall out of and a bottom piece to take out. It is dishwasher safe, and I like the tip they left for if it starts getting difficult to screw the lid off and on. This was much better than I had expected to receive. I like that they mentioned putting a small amount of cooking oil on the screw cap if it feels a little tight, which I did, and it helped tremendously! I was hesitant about ordering this but I am so glad that I did! If I had one concern, it would be the holes being a little small, making it a little too difficult for them to get to the cup, causing them to get frustrated and give up. We shall see! Read more

This is hands-down one of the best finds I’ve made for my dogs in ages. The Fursicle comes with a tray that you fill with your dog’s favorite treats and freeze. Once frozen, you pop one of the three treats out and place it in the acorn-shaped toy. My only hiccup was getting the frozen treat out of the silicone mold—it was a bit tricky, but using a spoon helped. That said, all four of my dogs absolutely LOVED it! I only have one Fursicle right now, so they took turns, but each one was completely occupied while using it. I’m definitely buying three more! Cleanup is a breeze—just disassemble and toss it in the dishwasher. Huge win. I also love that the tray holds three treats, so two more are ready to go for next time. Compared to other fillable toys that are hard to prep, don’t come apart, or aren’t dishwasher safe, this one is better in every way. It’s also far more cost-effective than buying store-bought frozen dog treats. There’s even a QR code with 10 quick recipes! For our first try, I used wet food and it was a massive hit. You can easily use peanut butter, broth, banana, pumpkin, spray cheese—so many dog-safe options to get creative with. I'd rate this 10 stars if I could. Read more

Very messy! Would not recommend. Also the “lid” to the ball is a choking hazard. Read more
