Excellent shorts - Super comfortable! Double-check your fit on the sizing chart (see comments)
I was looking for some nice looking light weight shorts that would be good for wearing out for casual wear. I wanted something with a stretch waist that could wear without a belt if I wanted to. Found these shorts and decided to try them. I am very pleased with them! As others have mentioned the material is fairly thin. That is NOT a negative to me as I wanted something light for hot summer days. To give you an idea of how light they are, the picture is of the package they are shipped in. For perspective, that is a standard white paper napkin that you likely have have in your home. These shorts are able to be squeezed into a package that small. But don't let that fool you. They are extremely comfortable and fit very nicely. The quality seems to be very good. As for them being "golf shorts", I probably would not wear them to play at my country club, but they would be great shorts for golf where the dress code is more relaxed. The pockets are deep and roomy. The fit through the seat and crotch is comfortable. These are shorts I can wear all day and feel comfortable. I work from home and typically wear a popular brand of athleisure shorts while working. These are every bit as comfortable to wear all day as those shorts. As for sizing, I used their sizing chart to buy my first pair and they were a little big. (It said to get a 3XL.) I felt they were too loose, so I went down to an XXL and they fit perfect. (Which is the size I would have normally purchased - but I wasn't sure so I went with the sizing chart for my initial pair.) I then bought another pair in a different color and it fit equally well in the one-size-down size. You may want to reconsider if the sizing chart suggests going up a size, but that will be an individual choice you make. I am very happy with these shorts and will probably get one more pair soon!
