I was looking for some nice looking light weight shorts that would be good for wearing out for casual wear. I wanted something with a stretch waist that could wear without a belt if I wanted to. Found these shorts and decided to try them. I am very pleased with them! As others have mentioned the material is fairly thin. That is NOT a negative to me as I wanted something light for hot summer days. To give you an idea of how light they are, the picture is of the package they are shipped in. For perspective, that is a standard white paper napkin that you likely have have in your home. These shorts are able to be squeezed into a package that small. But don't let that fool you. They are extremely comfortable and fit very nicely. The quality seems to be very good. As for them being "golf shorts", I probably would not wear them to play at my country club, but they would be great shorts for golf where the dress code is more relaxed. The pockets are deep and roomy. The fit through the seat and crotch is comfortable. These are shorts I can wear all day and feel comfortable. I work from home and typically wear a popular brand of athleisure shorts while working. These are every bit as comfortable to wear all day as those shorts. As for sizing, I used their sizing chart to buy my first pair and they were a little big. (It said to get a 3XL.) I felt they were too loose, so I went down to an XXL and they fit perfect. (Which is the size I would have normally purchased - but I wasn't sure so I went with the sizing chart for my initial pair.) I then bought another pair in a different color and it fit equally well in the one-size-down size. You may want to reconsider if the sizing chart suggests going up a size, but that will be an individual choice you make. I am very happy with these shorts and will probably get one more pair soon! I got these last minute to play a golf round at a nice country club. For the price I would say these shorts are fine but I wouldn't expect them to look like anything high quality. They are very light material which is great when it's hot but they do have a cheap look to them if you start to look at them. The elastic waistband kind of made me feel like i was wearing pants for toddlers but with a belt over it no one would notice. They do wrinkle a lot when you fold them so if you want to look clean cut you'd have to toss them in the dryer or something every time you take them out to wear them. Overall i probably wont wear them in a nice setting but for casual shorts they'll be perfect for summer days when you want some breathability. Read more

You should definitely get these shorts. The XXL 7” shorts are perfect. I’m 5’9” and 245# and they fit great. They fit like gym shorts because of the stretchiness of the waistband so I don’t even bother to undo the button and zipper. They have belt loops just in case you need them. They are super lightweight but are not see through. They come out of the wash just fine and wrinkle free. I bought a pair of XXXL originally just to make sure I had a pair that would fit okay. They are also great. No slippage at all. I wouldn’t put any more into the pockets than what you’d put in gym shorts pockets. Speaking of pockets….there isn’t a back pocket. The size runs true, but it's convenient that it has elastic so it gives a buffer. The fabric quality is great for keeping spills off/when it gets wet. The color I got was what I ordered. The zipper pocket is what I really wanted to help in Europe with pick pocketers. Overall, what I paid for was a deal. I got my money's worth. Value for the money of these shorts is fantastic. They're very comfortable in the Florida heat and the extra little zipper pocket puts my mind at ease in big crowds by keeping my wallet safe. Read more
