Very similar to the previous timer we had but what I found confusing is the programming . 12AM and 12 PM are backwards. The pictures show you that the black is 6PM to 6AM, BUT it has 12PM for midnight (which should be 12AM) and the white has 6AM to 6PM, BUT has 12AM and it should be 12PM. I’m finding it difficult to articulate how to make sense explaining this and beginning to get confused with my own review! This timer made me question everything I learned in elementary school with telling time! For this reason, I only gave it four stars. Read more

Once you learn how to use it, these work GREAT. This is the 2nd one I bought -- the other has been turning our porch light on and off for several years. This one now operates our landscaping lights and appears to be just as good quality and suited for outdoor use. The timer that came with our landscape light set quit working after a few years -- It could still be turned on ad off manually but timer quit working - so we attached one of these to it and not we have a working timer again.
