Great all around watch
Overall, I am very pleased with this watch. It looks awesome and is built very well. It looks great as a formal watch and also as a casual everyday watch. I actually get compliments on it and many people don’t realize it is an g shock at first and think it’s a high end designer watch. And unlike most G shocks, it does not look super bulky and instead looks quite classy and slim. Overall functionality is good. It has the features you expect from a G shock and then some. I really like the hand shift feature, it is satisfying, watching the hands move out of the way. The super illuminator feature is nice too, it makes it easy to see the digital screen at night and the way the light shines in the corner and reflects on the inside is cool too. The 31 different time zones is great if you travel frequently. Unfortunately though, like most people said visibility of digital screen is not the best. Being a negative style display means that it can be hard to see if there is not an adequate light source. The small size of it doesn’t help. That being said, it’s not so bad once you get used to positioning the watch face so light reflects on that part at least. Still, it is nice being able to see the exact time and date with a switch of a button as well as a the second countdown. Plus if it really bothers you then they do sell a version with a positive style display which is easier to see but will a cost bit more. Finally, the size and fit ment of the watch is for me is perfect. Not too big not too small. I have average size wrists. The resin strap is great, feels and looks good especially with the added texture. If you have large wrists then you may find the diameter of the watch a bit too small. Overall I would say it is well worth it, especially when it is on sale. It is beautiful, functional and feels very well built. Very few minor cons. Read more
