Like the fit (L), warm, padding is not too bulky. But the zipper is horrible-misaligns easily and the tiny teeth bend with any wrong tug. It would need a brass or heavy duty zipper to put up with glove and daily use. Read more

To get this out of the way first, there is absolutely 0 abrasion resistance in this hoodie...I knew that when I was going to purchase this. I will not be using this hoodie by itself.. I just purchased a nice Walter Dyer leather riding jacket and I really like the hoodie under leather look. I knew most leather jackets don't come with hoods, nor armor pockets....that is why I bought this. After getting the hoodie, I was considering returning it...it's very tight for being a XXL. I usually buy XXL in shirts, hoodies, jackets because I have very wide/big shoulders and a little belly. (I like my tops more on the baggy side.) This is almost too tight...but after trying it on under my leather jacket I think it first perfectly. The armor this comes with isn't anything fantastic...however it does go for $25 here on Amazon as well...so really this isn't a bad deal at all for $45. I'm going to use the shoulder and elbow armor in my older cordura textile jacket because it is much lighter weight and good for summer riding. I will upgrade the armor that I'm fitting in this hoodie because I will do more longer distance/cooler riding with this hoodie/leather jacket combo. I'm not sure if any "Riding" hoodies have any aramid/kevlar, or any abrasion resistant materials...but like I said I don't think this is a bad deal at all for this. Read more

The zipper broke 5 minutes out of the bag. It is way too small and flimsy for the weight and thickness of the jacket. And the zipper is certainly too small for a garment intended to be used on a bike where you are likely wearing gloves. Read more
