Quality item, well-made.

Tbis is a nice, large umbrella. Seems well made. It is a little heavier than other umbrellas I've had, but I figure that's because it's also larger. I got the 54", to have a wider cover when open. The larger size protects me from the rain better than smaller arc umbrellas. It's easy to open, but closing it for me is somewhat difficult. Once the button is pushed to close it, it pops closed very well. But my trouble comes with pushing the folded canopy back down into the locked position. That is very hard to do, and I always have to put the handle against my leg or belly, and then really push the canopy part in to lock it closed. But so far, that is my only issue with it. The color is pretty, it fits into my backpack side pocket, and protects from the rain very well. I have not used ut in extremely heavy winds, but it has held up in the winds it has experienced so far. I just angle it into the wind and not against it, whenever possible. Overall, I do recommend this umbrella. Just be aware that it may be hard to close when you're finished using it. Read more

Truly sturdy in harsh winds

CJMay 22, 2024✓ Verified purchase

I have used this umbrella for a while now and in very harsh weather. It holds up. It is compact for the canopy size and well made. I will say that such a large canopy does pick up wind more than the smaller ones, however even when it does turn the umbrella out it does not break the umbrella and its very easy to turn it right side again. The only hassle is after you close the canopy it can take a little strength to get the folded umbrella to compress back to the handle but that's a sign of how well tightened the springs are. I do recommend this! I Read more

Amazing umbrella, subpar handle

ZacharyJanuary 18, 2026✓ Verified purchase

On paper, this umbrella checks all the boxes that are hard to come by: Compact folding? Check. Large enough for one tall person or two shorter people? Check. Wind vent? Check. Automatic opening and closing? Check. Strong materials? Check. And it does all of that incredibly well. However, the one place it fails is in its comfort in holding. The handle is not as cushioned/ergonomic as I would like, and it wobbles ever so slightly to the point where it feels a tad annoying, requiring a bit of a grip. Additionally, the auto-closing feature counteracts the reverse closing, as the auto-close is QUICK, sprinkling water despite the outside of the umbrella being dry. Overall, I love this thing, but it has a few quirks. Read more

Heavier than expected, sturdy, well made. e

Marietta CrappsOctober 26, 2025✓ Verified purchase

Rainy week, so I got to try it out immediately. It is heavier than I anticipated, but evidence of its good construction and materials. I bought the 54" in light blue. I read the instructions, tried the automatic open and close function in the house first. Practiced compacting it, before heading out into the downpour. It was raining so hard, I was overanxious to raise the umbrella, so I must have pressed the raise/lower button twice. It collapsed almost as soon as I raised it! Didn't realize my mistake until I got to the car, thinking it was faulty perhaps. Nope. My fault. Unless you fully compact it after lowering it, (as illustrated in the instructions) the umbrella will not reopen. Now that I understand that function, I am happy with it. It's very sturdy, worth the money. Still a bit heavy for me, but I like it anyway. I think it will be durable and last me a long time as long as I don't lose it, lol Read more

Not wind proof and close/open buttons don’t work

BrendaNovember 21, 2024✓ Verified purchase

Umbrella isn’t that old. Bought it at the end of the rain season last year. Needed a bigger umbrella that was sturdy for the random Bay Area storms. Today was the first real rain of the season. I took this out and when I pushed the open button, nothing. So I manually opened it and made my way to the subway. I closed it using the button and it worked. Once I got off the subway, I opened it and it worked fine but when I went to close it, button didn’t work. So I manually closed it but the umbrella wouldn’t click down. So I just had the stick sticking out. I figured I could fix it after work. Once I got off work, I couldn’t open it. Not manually, not with the button. The umbrella wouldn’t click into place. So I had no choice but to look dumb holding an umbrella and getting rained on. Once I got off the subway station, I again tried to manually close it and open it clicked the buttons. Nothing. It was POURING so I decided that maybe I could hold the top up the whole way home. I only got a couple of feet up the street and realized it was impossible because the umbrella kept closing. So, I decided I would trash it. But before trashing it, I would give it one more try. More because I had spent a lot of money on this and only used it twice. I pressed the bottom of handle of the umbrella against a cement step while I put my body to the top to force it shut. It worked! I was able to use the button and open it. I literally made it two steps when a gush of wind flipped it open. I thought maybe it’s super windy, but everyone else with regular umbrellas was fine. No one had flipped umbrellas or was holding them for dear life. So, with all that said, I do not recommend this product. Wasted of money and is adding unnecessary stress to my life. I’m considering calling it a loss and giving it to someone on the street. Maybe it’ll help them get from point A to B before trashing it. Read more

Strong and Dry!

B DrakeJanuary 10, 2026✓ Verified purchase

This umbrella is pretty cool. Covers a large area keeping everything under it nice and dry. It's very strong and doesn't "reverse mushroom out" in the wind. It opens with a touch of a button and shuts with the touch of a button. All you have to do is push the umbrella back down to the handle. Read more
