Using the size chart, a 5’6”, 140 lb build suggested an XL — but that definitely ran larger than expected. It fits, but not with the more flattering, secure feel this style is meant to have. A smaller size would have been the better choice. If you’re between sizes or relying on the chart, consider sizing down. Oh my god, where has this skort been all my life?! I love this thing so dang much! I can’t stop wearing the skirt everywhere I go. It fits absolutely perfectly and has a very generous stretch to it, so I feel like it’s very true to size and even would work if you were right in between your regular size and maybe even a larger one. The quality is really excellent and it looks absolutely adorable on me and my gigantic thunder thighs. Thank to super soft and buttery, and so comfortable that I could easily wear it to bed and be fine. The shorts under tho e shirt are a decent length so you won’t be flashing people all the time, and even if you do, man, this thing is so cute it’s worth it lol. It flares out beautifully if you do a twirl and holds up to heavy workouts and even roller derby games! Definitely my new favorite piece in my wardrobe. Strongly recommend. Read more

I weigh around 122lbs with my waist at 27” and hips at 36”. Barely 5’ tall with the skirt portion hitting me just about mid thigh. I really love this piece. I’m a huge fan of skorts, whether I’m playing golf or running errands, I even wear more flattering pieces such as this to work. The workmanship is beautifully executed, the pleats are done nice and stay after washing.
