Great pants option for those of us with a pear shape (smaller waist, and larger below that). I have not seen this style before (deep pleats on the sides instead of the front). I would buy one in every color in a heartbeat, but they only have black. The pleats make the legs looser than every pair of pants I bought on Amazon, which I need for work. (I call it “Amazon sizing” because 3X is more like a medium.) These pants are so much better than other pants, I have to ask the manufacturers: Who is the typical fit model at most of these factories? A child with no body fat?? The price kept fluctuating, which was aggravating. Overall, the price fluctuations on Amazon are just a pain in the neck. Read more

The G4Free ShiftReady Wide Leg Business Casual Pants are quite nice, have a nice flow to them, and a nice feel to the fabric. The length is great on the legs, but the height the pants comes up around her waist is higher than what she would typically wear... think of a high waist pant and then add a few inches to that high waist! Other than that, her only other issue is that the pants say that they need to be hand-washed and well, they'll get washed with the regular laundry or they won't be staying in this home very long. These pants are sooo comfy and soft! Size is spot on for my weight and height. The fit is comfortable, flattering and loose. Material is a good quality. Very soft and breathable. These pants are great for work, play or just running errands in. Hopefully they'll hold up for a long time. I'm enjoying them so much, I might order another pair! Great find 🙂 Read more

I like how loose these are in the legs. I admit to wearing them to work. I feel like I am free to move around in these with no restricted movement. They are very stretchy without losing their shape or putting stress on the stitching. They look good with a short blazer type jacket or with just a plain t-shirt which makes the versitile. Read more

These G4Free ShiftReady pants are like dressy yoga pants. What I like about these pants: -- The fabric is smooth and comfortable enough to rest against my sensitive skin. -- I like the taupe color. -- I love, love, LOVE that I had the option to order a shorter length of inseam! Most pants are too long on my stubby frame but these are perfect! -- The pants have pockets that are deep enough to stick my whole hand in. Yay! -- The waistband is nice and wide at 2 1/8" and the elastic inside the waistband is just as wide. It's comfortable and no cutting into my waist! -- Wide legs and pleats which give me plenty of room on the inside for freedom of movement. However . . . What I don't like about these pants: -- The pleated sides are . . . interesting, but not entirely flattering. They definitely look better and hang better on the model in the product photos. -- The pleated sides mean a lot more fabric is flapping around in those areas. For me, it makes the pants feel a little heavy and not very summer-friendly. They also just look really baggy. -- The label says they are 69% nylon and 31% lycra. Not very summer-friendly fabric for me, especially the nylon. -- Speaking of the label, it's almost 5" long and kind of scratchy-stiff. I had to cut that thing off right away which I don't like having to do because that's where the laundry and fabric info is. Give me softer labels, please, or just print directly onto the fabric. -- The label also says these pants should be hand-washed, which is something I will not do, due to time and the fact that it's 2025. Also, my back starts to hurt if I have to bend for a period of time and hand washing an item forces me to bend. So, these pants definitely have both good and bad qualities for me but I think there are more good than bad. The fact that these can be ordered at different inseams is fantastic! I will enjoy lounging at home in them at least. Read more
