Works great in my liftmaster. Makes the garage real light. After 3 months 1 of the bulbs has failed. Would not recommend these bulbs, to my knowledge no warranty on these. Only on when door is open. Read more
Past couple of years, I was having a problem with one of the two bulbs in my garage door opener. I had been using regular light bulbs since installation and they had always worked. Then a few years ago, one bulb wouldn't work and then it would flicker. I tried different bulbs, but it did not resolve the problem. I assumed that the problem was with one of the sockets and would have to replace it. This past spring, I rolled the dice and purchased these garage specific bulbs. It solved the problem that I was having. I can only think that most likely the filament bulb quality was decreased as production went overseas when LEDs took over. I have had these in the openers sockets for 6 months now and both have lit up consistently. Provided me with constant illumination in my detached garage. Nice color along with brightness that I had been lacking. I have had no experience with interference with the remote as I have read about. I wish I would have purchased sooner. They are less expensive than "brand name" garage bulbs sold at big box stores and have worked well for months now. Would recommend highly. Read more
These bulbs provide less interference than other LED bulbs. However they are not without their own issues 1 - Longevity, it has been less than 30 days and one of 2 has stopped working 2 - brightness they claim 1700 lumens, they are considerably dimmer than the 1500 lumen bulbs they replaced 3 - Color temperature these seem much closer to 6000K than the claimed 5000K Another observation is the LOXYEE bulb only weighs 26g whereas the 1500 lumpen bulb it replaced weighed 67g. This doesn’t factor into the review but with it being so light I can only assume the additional weight is heatsink in the older bulb which may have contributed to what I feel is premature failure in the LOXYEE Edit - second bulb has failed at around 30 days and lights up less than the light in an extension cord end. These things actually worked. Had 2 LEDs I replaced the standard bulbs with then our remotes would stop working unless we held the thing inside the door. Read about the LED interference. So took one bulb out facing the driveway. Remotes started working again but not consistently. Saw these bulbs and for 10 bux figured why not try. If they didn't work, returns are easy. But they worked. Every time now the remotes work on the first try. Read more
My garage door opener was definitely having issues with interference and these bulbs seemed to have improved that situation some so i think these are worth it if your garage door opener is having trouble sensing the signal from your remote control. Brightness and the color warmth is very good and no flickering whatsoever. They do seem a bit pricey though for a bulb and so knocking off one star for value. Read more
The only LED bulbs that work with garage doors! Very bright too! Time will tell on longevity, most bulbs don’t survive all the vibration the door openers make. Read more
I bought a 4-pack, installed on 8-January, and by 17-February, two of the four had burned out. I then read reviews and there are many in January and February complaining of the same problem. I will be surprised if the other two bulbs make it to 60 days. The product does not allow returns after 30 days (convenient for a bulb which burns out in 40), and I have no way to call the company. I discarded the box because I've never had any lightbulb last less than 1 year. Complete rip off. Don't throw away your money on these. Read more
