I moved to a new home with a garage the was lit with 2 of those old spiral looking light bulbs which were annoyingly dim. It was so easy to replace the dim light bulbs in our garage with these bright, bright fixtures. The garage has gone from dim and gloomy 2 car garage to a bright, well lit garage. These little things put out more light than the shop lights I had in my previous garage. They are installed with all the sections up to evenly light the area with a brilliant white light. This product is exactly what I was looking for to replace two lightbulbs in a garage that provided decent lighting in the core but lacked sufficient light to fill the periphery (i.e. the corners of the garage). I did not have much hope for these. but they are absolutely brighter than you can imagine. I have a very dark garage, especially in winter, and when I flipped these on, I feel like I have been transported to South Beach! The entire garage lights up and I can find absolutely everything. I want to drag out a lounge chair, a towel, and a boat drink! It’s that bright! Terrific value for the money and super easy to use. They go in just like a regular lightbulb. Read more

This is one seriously bright light. It makes the garage look like daylight no matter how dark it is outside. Unfortunately it also interferes with the remote control frequency for our new garage door opener! I almost took the opener down and took it back to the store as we could not get it to open until the car was almost touching the door. Buried in the online version of the manual it mentioned that some LED lights can interfere, so I turned the light off and sure enough I was then able to open it from 3 houses down the road. Unfortunately the light is about 14 feet up and the garage door installer and his very tall ladder is long gone. This thing is very bright!! When I first opened the box is was a little unsure of how bright this thing was gonna be but I was pleasantly surprised when I flipped the switch and it'll literally blinded me for a few seconds. The nice part is the paddles are adjustable so you can throw light to other areas in the garage or basement. I leave my garage light on all the time and these have lasted for about a year and a half per light. Very happy with the amount of light it puts out. Lights up my whole garage and it's a big two car very deep garage and I only have one light that used to have a 60 watt bulb in it so you can imagine this is like daylight compared to the old way.
