Turquoise and/or Blue Teal is almost impossible to find. It is a difficult color to produce, at best, and frequently leans too much towards green. I was fully prepared to return this rug. I was waiting to pull it out of the box and find that it was the wrong color or poorly made, especially when I read that the design is printed and not woven. The reasonable price made me suspicious, but I had been looking for months and couldn't find what I wanted. Well, I was WRONG! I loved it from the moment I pulled it out of the box. The color is PERFECT (I bought it to highlight turquoise lamps in my living room), the artwork is beautiful, and the rug feels fantastic underfoot. Everyone who walks into my home asks me where I got it. It is beautiful! Do yourself a favor. Make sure you also purchase a good 1/4" non-slip rug pad. It makes a huge difference in the look and feel of this rug. I did a spot-test on the rug to make sure I could clean it properly. YES! Not an issue. In fact, I got out some of the folds by using a steam cleaner on it as suggested by the company. My only complaint is that the folds would not occur to begin with if the rug were delivered rolled and sealed in plastic. It is folded up in a huge box and that folding is tough to overcome. Not sure why they are doing that, but I love the end result! The rug is a deeper turquoise than my photo will lead you to believe due to the lighting. Wasn’t sure if this was going to look spectacular or spectacularly awful but bought it due to the price and needing to get a rug for the baby’s room quickly. It is stunning! It looks like it came from an estate or Newport mansion and the color is very true to the photo. A puppy accident revealed that the rug can keep it to the surface for as long as it took me to sprint to the opposite side of the house for paper towels and back. A full Stanley cup of water spill didnt even get through to the floor! Definitely needs a pad underneath for comfort and the only negative I have is that it’s a bit slippery-not so slippery that I worry about falling but it’s noticeable when trying to get up from sitting on it even without socks and did not fulfill the idea of being helpful to a baby learning to crawl due to the lack of traction. Ultimately though, the price, look and quality make it still worth a 5 star rating since I can’t give it a 4.5 star for the slipperiness Read more

Feels good on the feet. Thicker than most, seems well made. Lays pretty flat. I use it in a outdoor covered patio with a thin antislip pad.So far so good. Read more

I love these rugs! I have several in different sizes I bought when I recently moved into a new apartment. I have a small galley kitchen and I originally thought I'd just get a 2x3 rug for in front of the sink, but when I saw this runner, I knew it was what I wanted. It's perfect. Covers the area I wanted covered, it's soft if I'm barefooted and I can throw it in the washer. I love the birds and the color goes great with my kitchen decor.
