In all honesty, I was disappointed that it didnt cool down my house based on the square footage. However, this unitis the real deal. Everything works, I had to turn it off a couple times due to how cold it became. What I did do was properly map out where it was gonna go and if accessories would work on my windows. Otherwise, its a great product incentive I have the proper space for it, I'd buy 2 more tbh. Read more

At 3ft from the front of the unit, off center so not to get air blowing on the microphone, tested at 70dB on low and 72dB on high during the active part of the cooling cycle. This is a huge drawback as it means at the size of room it is meant to operate in it will be very loud, like sitting next to an outdoors A/C unit. It does however cool very well and it works quite quickly for its size - it dropped a large bedroom with a 14ft ceiling 1°F in less than 5 minutes. The included kit also worked pretty well. I would recommend getting some foam tape to help make a better seal in the gaps of your window. You might also want to consider wrapping the tube in something insulating like bubble wrap, because it gets very hot and radiates back into the room which reduces efficiency (this is a problem with almost all portable A/C units). My only other complaint is the outlet vents have a tendency to snap shut if not fully opened, I recommend jamming something into it to keep this from happening as the unit will keep the fan running whether it's open or closed which could potentially lead to a failure of some sort. I got this for my bedroom thinking it would help cool the room down for night time. I tried it for two nights and immediately returned. 1. Is extremely loud. Idk how there advertising this as quiet. The "sleep mode" reduced the noise level by about 5%. For reference, I use a Google speaker to play rain sounds at night.I wouldn't be able to hear it until I raised the volume to 50%. And it's not a nice background fan noise. Machine will switch between just blowing and then the condenser will kick in for 20m and it will sound like an outdoor unit. Sleep was not possible. 2. It didn't even cool my bedroom . I set this to 68 and it failed to fully cool my bedroom which I measured to be 180sq ft. This is supposed to handle up to 600sq feet I believe. Unless your sitting in front of it, you won't be feeling much. The installation was fine, and I was able to saw the window seal down to fit my 22inch window. But for the intended purpose, this thing is useless and I returned it. Read more
