This bed has been great for my small dog, she curled up in it right away. Our little guy loves this. It fits in his kennel perfectly and he sleeps well. He likes to cover himself up with his blanket and use the sides as a pillow. Our big girl did get to it and chewed a hole in it but I sewed it up with nylon string and just keep a closer eye on her now. Our little guy is super protective of his bed and will snap at her now when she gets close. Cute plush bed. Keeps my dog nice and warm. Don’t get this bed if your dog is a chewer because mine easily ripped through a few parts of the bed and the plush came out. She still uses it I just have to replace the bed. Read more

At this time, I give this bed a one star rating. Why? I like the bed, but my 2 cats seem to be afraid of it for some reason, making me think there is something in it giving off a bad odor. I have tried using Calm Spray to help with the apprehension, but they still refuse. I even rubbed it down with catnip, but they get in, look very confused and scared, and get right back out. I have never had issues like this before with Sam and Dean. They have gone through many beds in the 9 years I have shared my home with them, and they usually adapt to the new bed within minutes. I unpacked it on Monday afternoon. It is on my stand next to my desk, which is a favorite spot because they can sit nearby as I work on my computer. Normally, they spend hours in this location. I like it, but that is not important. They have to be comfortable sleeping in it, and they clearly are not. As you can see in the photo, no cat. They should be in there at this time of day, at least one of them. I got up from my computer to take the photo but when I am working I am sitting in that chair, often rubbing a cat belly or scratching their back with one hand. I filled this bed with fresh catnip after trying multiple other methods to encourage them to get in the bed with no luck. I added photos today showing the result.
