This is very easy to use and has a variety of amazing functions. I’ve used it for smoothies and juices on my health journey, however, I’m excited to use it for nut milks since I have to avoid dairy/lactase. I love the self clean feature as well. Everything only takes roughly 3 minutes making it easy to clean, a great way to get a protein shake made while I’m getting ready for work, and maintain a healthier diet. Read more

I recently bought the GDOR 35oz Nut Milk Maker, and I have to say, it’s a really impressive little machine—but it definitely comes with a bit of a learning curve. I was looking for something that could make homemade almond milk, oat milk, and smoothies without needing multiple appliances cluttering my kitchen, and this seemed like it fit the bill perfectly. The first thing that stood out is how solid and well-built it feels. The 12 stainless steel blades are sturdy and sharp, and the motor is surprisingly powerful. I’ve blended everything from soaked almonds to frozen fruits, and it handles everything with minimal effort. The 35oz capacity is also perfect for making enough milk for a few days, or a large smoothie for the whole family. The 9-in-1 functionality is really convenient once you figure it out. You can make nut milk, soy milk, oat milk, juices, smoothies, even boil water, and it has a keep-warm function, 12-hour delay start, and a self-cleaning mode. I particularly love the self-cleaning option—it saves a lot of time, though I still give it a quick rinse afterward just to make sure everything is clean. The keep-warm feature is handy if you’re using it to make soy milk or for hot beverages. That said, it does take a little trial and error to get things just right. Different nuts, grains, and fruits need slightly different soaking times and water ratios, so the first few batches didn’t come out as creamy as I wanted. The instructions are helpful but could be a bit clearer for first-time users, especially when it comes to blending and cooking times for different types of milk. Noise-wise, it’s not whisper-quiet, but for the power it delivers, it’s reasonable. I usually run it in the morning, so I just get used to the hum for a few minutes. Overall, I’m really happy with it. Once you get the hang of the ratios and settings, it’s incredibly versatile and makes your kitchen routine so much easier. If you drink plant-based milk regularly or like making smoothies and juices from scratch, this is a powerful, all-in-one machine worth considering. It’s not perfect out-of-the-box, but with a little practice, it’s a real game-changer. Read more

This nut milk maker works wonderfully and looks beautiful. This item arrives neatly packaged in styrofoam inside a colorful product box. This product includes the machine itself, a silicone cleaning brush, a metal strainer, a bag strainer, a measuring cup, an instructional manual, a troubleshooting brochure, and warranty information. Upon opening this machine, I was immediately pleased by how pretty it is! I have several other GDOR kitchen appliances, and they are all beautiful, so this one is no exception. The pitcher and lid are a creamy, off-white color, while the display on the front has a timer, images for different settings, and clearly visible additional controls. The lid is pressed into place and then turned slightly to lock, which ensures minimal mess, and that you don’t burn your hands or chop off your fingers, during use. Although this machine will make almond, oat, and soy milk, as well as juices, smoothies, anything you would like to blend, and basic hot water, I ordered it primarily to make almond milk. A benefit of this machine is that you don’t need to soak the nuts first, so you can impulsively decide you want to make some milk and you don’t need to sit around and wait for the nuts to be ready. Also, because this machine has a 12-hour timer and a 2-hour keep-warm time, you can prep it before bed, have the milk ready by the time your alarm goes off, and then hit snooze a few times before rewarding yourself for getting out of bed with a warm, freshly made beverage. As a boring alternative, you can just fill the pitcher with water before going to sleep and then wake up to hot water that is ready for tea throughout the morning. The process of making almond milk is fairly straightforward. If you like your milk thick, like I do, the ratio is 2-3 cups of water for every cup of almonds, while if you like it closer to the consistency of store-bought milk, the ratio is 4 cups of water for every cup of almonds. Google says the ratio for oats is similar, but I haven’t tried oats with this machine yet. I also like to add a date or two to my mixture to make the milk a bit sweeter. Using this general recipe, the milk I made with this machine was smooth, consistent in texture, delicious, and not at all gloopy, as can sometimes be the case. Overall, I have enjoyed using this machine, I think it looks awesome on my kitchen counter, and I look forward to continuing to try new recipes in the future. Read more
